About
Morphoacoustics as a research area grew from our investigations of human outer ears and spatial hearing.
Craig Jin and Tony Tew first started working together after meeting at the AES Munich 2002 convention. This led to the SYMARE Database and has grown into a morphoacoustics community (it was Tony who first coined the term) that spans a number of researchers worldwide.
We have found that our research approach requires new tools and new data. We are looking to share our work as well as learn from and seek assistance from others - hence this site. Please explore more and contact us if you have an interest!
